We are pleased to introduce Vandra Chequered, a carefully selected collection that is based on the chequered design made classic in the 1940’s by the Swedish interior company Svenskt Tenn and the company EMTE textile which is the origin of today’s Vandra Rugs. We now offer it in a number of modern colours.

Simply find your favourite rug among the Vandra Chequered. Once you have found the design you like, then specify your desired size. The rugs come made to measure limited only by the size of our largest loom. Where the maximum width is 6 meters and the maximum length 16 meters. The checkers/squares can be woven in any size but traditionally 30×30 cm, 40x40cm or 50×50 cm is used. The Vandra Chequered rugs are as pretty in a modern home as they are in a historical, more traditional setting.
